This Keto Strawberry Milkshake is an icy treat that I just cant believe tastes so good.

I am going to come clean…as a kid I hated Strawberry shakes. I think it was because they were always made with the Strawberry Flavored Nestle sugar goop. But this is different.

The REAL strawberries bursting with flavor make this drink one of my favorites. It’s the cat’s pajamas’s and every bit as summery as the Keto Vanilla Shake.

The Keto Strawberry Milkshake Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk if you like that better

I tend to use almond milk because I always have it on hand. But you can use either.

  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 oz. strawberries frozen

If you don’t have a scale you can use about 4-5 whole frozen strawberries.

  • 1 tbsp lime juice *or 1/4 tsp citric acid – to taste

Citrus really brings out the flavor in strawberries.

Since I live in the High Rocky Mountains and limes aren’t always available I keep Citric acid on hand.

Plus, it’s not like going to the store is as easy as it used to be. Citric acid can be used in a ton of different dishes, it’s shelf stable and has a  lot of other cool household uses as well.

Just make sure that you buy “food grade” citric acid like this one.

I really like the erythritol and monk-fruit blend but you can use whatever you like.

Just remember that this recipe is a sort of guide. If you like your drinks sweeter…add more sweetener.

If you like strawberry or chocolate syrup on top of your shakes, I like this brand. It comes with both strawberry and chocolate.

They are low carb and fan-freaking-tastic.

The Keto Strawberry Milkshake Instructions:

Here come the super daunting instructions….

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Add more lime juice if you like a little pucker and more sweetener if that is your thing.
  • Pour into a tall glass, top with low carb whipped cream if desired and enjoy.

Add vodka to make it boozy if you want to make it into a cocktail.

I hope you love the Keto Strawberry Milkshake as much as I do!

There isn’t much to say about this recipe. It’s pretty straightforward.
