Keto Classic Vanilla Shake

This Icy Keto Classic Vanilla Shake takes about five minutes to make and only requires four ingredients.

The Keto Classic Vanilla Shake Ingredients:

You could use coconut milk if you like the flavor but I find that almond milk keeps the vanilla flavor true.

Less is more when it comes to vanilla extract and creations that you won’t be baking or cooking. If you add too much vanilla it will end up tasting “boozy” because you won’t be cooking this.

Vanilla is made with alcohol and if it isn’t heated, the alcohol won’t cook out.

I fully realized this problem after sending some vanilla whipped cream to school with my “then” 6th grader.

I had used a heavy hand (and of course didn’t taste it that day), only to get a call from a friend who worked at the school letting me know that my child smelled a little “boozy”.

My face gets red just thinking about it.

So, unless you want a boozy drink, don’t add much more vanilla than is listed in the recipe.

If you do want it to be boozy, I’d suggest some vodka or something similar.

  • 1 cup ice cubes 5-6 ice cubes. You really can’t “overdo” ice.

 The Keto Classic Vanilla Shake Instructions:

  • Place the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.
  • Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

  1. Hi Kat! You can use whatever sweetener you like. We like allulose because it doesn’t cause stomach distress but feel free to experiment!!!!

  2. Hi, this looks really yummy. I’ve found though that allulose takes a long time to dissolve in cold beverages. I wonder if erythritol would be a better choice or even liquid stevia?
