Ooooh, this Italian inspired Low Carb Strawberry Basil Lemonade is a refreshing sugar free lemonade treat. It’s easy to make and kid friendly…unless you add a little splash of vodka (wink).

Served Low Carb Strawberry Basil Lemonade

🥘Ingredients:

  • 6 strawberries *Smashed with a fork
  • ¼ cup Lemon Juice about 1 lemon juiced
  • 2-3 tbsp allulose * to taste
  • 16 oz Mineral Water
  • 6 basil leaves washed and divided
  • ice cubes *for each glass

Optional Garnish

  • Mint leaves
  • lemon slices

👩🏾‍🍳How to make the Strawberry Basil Lemonade:

  • Place strawberries in a large bowl and crush with a fork. You don’t need to pulverize them, just enough to break them up so that they can fit through a straw. Add lemon juice, stir and set aside. If you’ve decided to sweeten it up, add the allulose.
  • When ready to assemble, add ½ of strawberry puree to each glass. Add 3 fresh basil leaves and a couple of ice cubes. Pour mineral water over top and serve with paper straws.
