Thick and satisfying is the best way to describe this Keto Pecan Pie Smoothie. IT. TASTES. LIKE.PECAN PIE.

If you love smoothies you're going to flip over how easy it is to "drink" you pie for breakfast, lunch or just an icy post workout snack.

This recipe is super easy, so the post is short and to the point. I don't know about you, but I like that.

🥘Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoon pecans lightly toasted and chopped

We usually buy pecans at Costco because of the price. But you can get them here...

You can toast them in a dry pan or in the toaster oven for a few minutes. Be careful, buts go from raw to burnt ina  hot second.

  • ¾ cup Unsweetened Cashew Milk *or Almond milk

Cashew milk is best if you have it on hand. It's so creamy and delicious too!

  • ½ cup ice 4-5 ice cubes

This is a "too taste" type of ingredient.

  • 2 tablespoon Ground Flax Seed *Chia works too. Only add 1-2 teaspoon if using chia or it will be too thick.
  • 1-3 tablespoon Allulose * or preferred sweetener to taste. I use 1 tbsp.
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg

I love a pinch of nutmeg but this ingredient is easy to overdo. Just a pinch is enough or it will make your tongue numb.

Plus it has some qualities that you might not want during the day...like making you sleepy.

  • ¼ teaspoon Maple Extract *optional and amazing tasting

I keep this around to make low carb pancake syrup and I love it in sweet breads like carrot cake banana bread.

  • Optional- Pecan and Praline Extract

Most peaople don't have this lying around but it's great if you've got it. It's amazing in this smoothie and the Pecan Pie Chia Pudding Recipe.

👩🏿‍🍳 How to make the smoothie:

Here it comes...super complicated instructions.

  • Put all ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth.

Don't over blend the ice or your smoothie will be thinner.

You can always add extra thickener like collagen powder, chia or heavy whipping cream to make it thicker if you want.

  • Serve immediately. Top with whipped cream or additional cinnamon and chopped nuts for gorgeous presentation.

📋Tips:

  • This recipe doesn't keep well. Make it when you plan to drink it.
  • Add a shot of espresso for a pick me up.
  • Add a shot of rum for a boozy smoothie.
  • The spices are a *too taste suggestion. If you love cinnamon...add more cinnamon.

I hope you love the Keto Pecan Pie Smoothie as much as I do!

We actually drink a lot of shakes and smoothies around here on busy days...

  • Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie
  • Chocolate Mint Milkshake
  • Strawberry Milkshake
  • Whipped Coffee
  • Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

As always, drop a line if you have questions or just want to say hi (and tell me how delish this recipe is).

Farvel Friends!
