Hi! If you are looking for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup flavor without the hassle, these Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs are for you.
I HATE the term fat bombs and will be referring to them as truffles or candy from now on.
Because that’s what they are ~ Delectable Keto Truffles that won’t take long to make and they surely won’t kick you out of Ketosis.
Enjoy!
The Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs Ingredients:
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese
Use the full fat stuff if you are doing Keto.
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
Use the right peanut butter with no added sugar. We have been using this Keto Peanut Butter and it’s the bomb! Best Low Carb Peanut butter ever.
- 1/3 cup Allulose
Powdered is best because it won’t cause a grainy texture.
This ingredient has some wriggle room in terms of how much you use. Make sure to taste it before you finish the last step.
We don’t care for our desserts to be overly sweet, but we know that some people do.
- 4 oz. Sugar Free Chocolate Baking Bar
There is some debate at our house as to how these taste “best”. I like the truffles rolled in cocoa powder while Thom like chopped chocolate.
Since he wrote the recipe, I left it that way but you can decide how you like yours or make them half chopped and half powdered chocolate.
*Optional ~
This Keto Candy already has a lot of fiber. And, that’s great because fiber is so important especially in the Keto Diet.
- But you can add a little extra to these by adding chia seeds, flax powder or help seeds.
- This is also a great place to add a little bit of CBD Oil if you’re into that.
The Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs Instructions:
- Chop the chocolate in small pieces and put it in a shallow bowl
Or just put the cocoa powder in a bowl if you’re using it instead of chopped chocolate.
- Mix the cream cheese allulose and peanut butter with an electric mixer until smooth.
We use a Kitchen Aid Stand-up Mixer but any electric mixer will work. You could probably mix it by hand with a wooden spoon, and count that as part of your workout.
Try to get it smooth though.
- Roll the PB mixture into 16 balls.
If you work quickly, this won’t be hard. If you find the mixture to be too sticky, put it in the freezer for 10 minutes and continue.
- Roll the balls in the chopped chocolate or cocoa powder so that they get covered.
- Put them in a fridge for 1/2 hour on a parchment covered baking sheet or plate. Store covered in the fridge for up to five days or pop them in the freezer for longer.
Our family eats these up pretty quickly but if you put them in the freezer…
BAM! You have peanut butter cup ice cream bites that will last for months. These are perfect for cooling down as it’s starting to heat up outside.
That’s it for the Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs recipe!
I hope you love them as much as we do!

Hey Laura! Thanks for commenting. I also prefer chocolate…always lol. Cheers!
Wow, another fantastic recipe from Castle…thank you so much for sharing your recipes! These are perfect as is, or with added chia seeds. Also, we prefer them rolled in chopped chocolate over the cacao!!
Thanks Pat! Great to know! They are such great tools for the kitchen!I would have never gotten one for myself because I thought they cost too much. I was so happy to receive one as a gift…that hinting finally paid off!
Thom, KitchenAid has a new small mixer that is offered on sale on QVC . It is strong, has attachments and is powerful. It may be on sale other places, and maybe at Christmas, but even not on sale I got a fabulous price!
