A light refreshing drink, perfect for Summer BBQ's, Baby Showers, Brunch or just a lazy afternoon on the porch. This drink embodies the the flavors of Summer while the lavender relaxes your mind and soothes anxiety. Bonus: turn this low carb mocktail into a gorgeous cocktail with the addition of vodka.
To make the simple lavender syrup, combine two cups of water and allulose in a small saucepan over medium / high heat. Bring to a boil and whisk until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in dried lavender.
Cover for about 15 minutes, allowing mixture to steep. Strain lavender through a mesh strainer, making sure to press and release all juices and syrup. Discard lavender petals.
In a large pitcher, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice, lavender mix and water. Chill for at least 2 hours.
Serve over ice.If you would like your lemonade to be a lavender color, use one drop red and one drop blue food coloring.
