This low carb cheese sauce only needs four ingredients that you probably already have in your fridge. There is no need for any flours, powders or weird thickeners at all. Delicious cheesy goodness will be your in less than ten minutes.
2cupsCheddar Cheese (8 oz)Shredded- Sharp Cheese makes an incredible sauce.
1/4cupheavy whipping cream (4 tbsp)
2tbspUnsweetened Cashew milkor any milk you like. More cream could be used too.
2tbspButter
Optional add ins
1/4tsppowdered garlic
1tbspChopped parsleyadded after the heat is turned off
1/4tspblack pepper
Instructions
Put everything in a sauce pan and heat on low/medium. Stir constantly with a whisk until thick and creamy. DO NOT BOIL. It will burn your cheese sauce.Add more milk if the sauce is too thick, more cheese if it is too thin.
Serve hot over veggies or as a dip.
