Not only will this flaxseed milk save you money, it's better than store bought because you can control the ingredients. You can make it thicker, thinner or add flavorings. Perfect for baking and getting in your daily fiber!
Blend flax seed powder and water in your blender on high for two minutes and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Blitz again and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
Blitz a final time and pour through a nut bag, squeezing out all of the liquid. The nut bag will help remove some of the viscous particles.
Serve or chill for up to three days in an airtight container. Shake before serving. See post for flavoring ideas and tips.
Notes
This milk can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.Do NOT dump the flax pulp down your drain because it will clog your pipes. Use the pulp in other recipes or (as a last resort) discard in trash.
