HOW TO MAKE HOT BUTTERED RUM

Put everything but the rum in a medium size saucepan and bring to a boil. Then turn down the heat and let simmer for 10-15 minutes. – Turn off the heat and stir in the rum. High heat will evaporate alcohol. Make sure it is no longer boiling when you add the booze. – Garnish with a cinnamon stick, and serve hot.
