Instructions
Here come the super complicated instructions...
Blend canned or fresh tomatoes smooth.
Add all ingredients to a saucepan.
Bring to a boil, lower the heat and let simmer for about 30-40 minutes. If you want a thicker sauce let it simmer until it reaches the consistency you like.
Store in the fridge for 10 days in a glass jar. Do a canning bath or freeze if you won't use it all by then.
Notes
This recipe is based on using 20 servings of approximately 3tbsp each. It will vary a little depending on how long you let the sauce cook down .
