Cobb Salad Recipe
The rumor goes that this hearty salad that eats like a meal was coined the "Cobb Salad" at the world famous Brown Derby in Hollywood in 1937, named after the restaurants owner Robert Howard Cobb. It quickly became a signature dish for good reason - it's healthy and addictive. You cant say that about a lot of the foods that come out of Hollywood, but this one is a keeper and practically perfect for the Keto WOE.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs Hard Boiled
- 3 oz. bacon Cooked crispy and chopped
- ½ lb Chicken Baked and chopped into bite sized pieces
- 2 oz. Roquefort cheese crumbled
- 1 avocado sliced
- 1 tomato sliced
- 5 oz. Romaine lettuce chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives * optional minced
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Arrange chopped ingredients on top of the lettuce and serve. Drizzle with low carb dressing of choice. See post for ideas.
Notes
This recipe makes two servings of Cobb Salad. It stores well as long as it is not dressed before being refrigerated.
