CHICKEN POT PIE

FILLING

– Chicken thighs - cubed – Butter – Onion - chopped – Celery - chopped – Green beans – White Wine Vinegar – Chicken Stock - Cauliflower  – Paprika – Sage or thyme – Black pepper – Red pepper flakes

CRUST

– Carbquik – Eggs – Heavy cream – Water – Thyme *optional dried – Black Pepper – Salt

Step 1

FILLING

 Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet or heavy pot over medium high heat.

Step 2

Add diced chicken, brown on all sides, season with salt and pepper, and continue cooking until fully cooked

STEP 3

 In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter, veggies, and dried sage or thyme. Stir frequently until celery is soft and translucent.

STEP 4

 Add white wine vinegar, broth, and stir. Simmer until broth is reduced and thickened. Add chicken back in, cream cheese, and paprika.

STEP 5

 Turn off heat and pour mixture into a pie dish.
