Cut Bacon into small pieces, and fry over medium heat until crispy.
While the bacon is frying, wash and cut a 5" head of green cabbage into shreds. The thinner the better to get all of the bacon flavor.
When the bacon pieces are crispy remove them from the pan leaving the bacon grease in the hot pan.
Add the shredded cabbage to the hot bacon grease.
Add the spices.
Chop bacon when it cools a bit and while cabbage is beggining to cook.
Stir/toss frequently (like you're making stir fry) until the cabbage is cooked and tender. You may what to use two spoons and toss this like a salad.
Add the crispy bacon bits back to the mix and mix it in. Cook fo another minute or so.
Serve and enjoy.
Notes
Recipe makes 6 servings. Serving size is 1/6 recipe. It's difficult to measure since some people cook their cabbage down more than others.
